
I obtained my
MA in Counselling (Cognitive Behavioural) from the University of Wales Newport. I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist and BABCP Accredited CBT Psychotherapist. My experience ranges from counselling for substance misuse, domestic violence, terminal illness, mental health issues and teaching counselling in University (UWCN)and FE institutions (Gloucestershire College).
I have worked for
Women in MIND, Women's Aid, Islwyn Drug and Alcohol Project, Cancercareline, Victim Support, BAWSO, and other agencies. Currently, as well as in private practice, I work full time as a psychotherapist and qualified supervisor for the NHS in Cheltenham as part of the Improved Access to Psychological Therapies (www.iapt.nhs.uk)program launched in September 2009.

I have trained with CRUSE Bereavement Counselling and hold a Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
I specialise in anxiety related issues and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I am also a Mindfulness (MBCT) practitioner trained in Oxford's MBCT Centre
I comply with the BACP Code of Ethics and Practice.
I have an understanding of Buddhism, Christianity and Judaism.
